Estimate the funding you pay or receive while holding a perpetual.
Estimated funding—
The funding rate keeps a perpetual near the spot price. When the rate is positive, longs usually pay shorts. When it is negative, the other way around. On a long hold, funding can take most of the profit. Estimate that cost before you open.
